Paint on Your Shoes?

April 15, 2009 by Chloe Findlay-Harder

Acrylic paint is great for paper, canvas and fabric right?

Why not add some color to your accessories with it too!

Cut Out + Keep has a great tutorial on how to paint your own canvas or fabric shoes.  Think about all the fun designs you could make – no more boring shoes for you!

All you need is a pair of plain, white fabric shoes, waterproof markers, acrylic paint and a shellac or lacquer.

Hey, it’s simple enough that the whole family can make their shoes together (although little kids should probably get parent to do the sealing part)
