Make Art Monday!
Tomorrow, for Technique Tuesday, I’ll be sharing tutorials on doing image transfers with both plain paper and with photo paper. Here are a couple of examples of work that uses these interesting techniques:

I am my Beloved’s
“I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine.” (Solomon’s Song of Songs)
In English and Hebrew.
Illustrations used: Victorian greeting cards

Never Doubt
“Never doubt in the dark what God has shown you in the light.”
This wonderful thought was penned by Raymond Edman, missionary and former president of Wheaton College.
Illustrations used: Hubble photograph

This is totally awesome! I am new to the collage world and I cannot wait to try this. It is just so elegant. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Patti! I’m glad you found this helpful, and please show me what you end up making!
I want to do a transfer onto cloth. Do I use the same technique?
Thanks
Patti
I’ve had better luck using transparencies to do fabric transfers, but it may just be me. The instructions are at this link:

Is this the Fugifilm Talbot paper?
the package reads../ acrylic image transfer paper. it was introduced in a class at boca raton art school and has worked better than anything else i tried.
Thanks for this information, Lorraine!
