Park Your Soap on Chopsticks

We talked about The Chopstick Purse back in May, but now is the time for soap talk.
Or soap place mat talk. This product is just too chic to be called a soap dish. It’s more like a soap spa accessory.

The beauty above is called “Flat Soap Dish,” and it’s from Kwytza Kraft, a company specializing in creations from single-use chopsticks. They throughly clean used chopsticks, then craft them into lamps, handbags, baskets, necklaces, trivets and pen holders.

That’s a pretty neat idea. I never throw out chopsticks because it kills me to toss good wood. Never thought of making a soap dish, though.
Julie,
I have a few pairs of reusable wooden chopsticks that we have for home. The trick is remembering to tell the take-out people that we don’t want the disposable ones!
I’ve often wondered why restaurants don’t offer real chopsticks when you’re dining in. They can’t be any more difficult to wash than forks. : )
