Passionate love is one type that we all hope to experience in a long term. It’s the stuff good marriages are made of. Passionate love is the type that makes your heart jump, your tummy twitter, your toes curl and your soul sing.

Perhaps the reason people are so unhappy in their marriages is they want passionate love and it’s not really about that. If what we wanted was consistency and dependability and cooperation – I know it doesn’t sound very romantic – then we could actually achieve that.
I don’t think I believe that “Passionate Love” can be long-term. I think commitment can be long term and passionate love is what suckers us in. Ha Ha.
