Can you imagine transforming your fingernails with fabric art?  This is one of the latest trends in nail art, according to Michal Cohen of MakeUp Talk, in her post, Nail Art Ideas.

“If you thought you have heard everything about nail art, then you need to read this article [Nail Art Ideas],” says Michal.  “Nail art is going all the more trendy.  You can glue dried flowers, beads, or a piece of your favorite fabric on to your nails.”

Then she gives you instructions on exactly how to do this.  She mentions the most popular fabrics are silk, linen and organza.  Bold, exotic colors also are the vogue.

So want a change of pace…or to have other quilters take notice…glue some of your favorite fabic to your fingernails!

I tried this idea and I can’t stop looking at my nails! It is such a unique idea, and I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before now. My nails look fabulous, and it only cost $0.11 for an inch of fabric at Wal-mart. It may take a little time, but the final result is so worth it.

  2. Thanks for sharing, Kayla. What fun that your nails turned out so well! I’ll mention this again in a post and see if anyone else has tried it, too.
