Patchwork Shower Curtains

The patchwork shower curtain caught my attention when I stayed the night at a friend’s condo.  This was more than a patchwork print on shower curtain material.

It was actually fabric pieces (squares and rectangles of various sizes) stitched together.  Then this was backed by a solid color fabric.  Then, of course, a shower curtain liner was needed to complete the ensemble.

I realized shower curtains could be made from various fabrics and with different designs.  this is a way to use up fabrics you have left from other projects.  This shower curtain certainly added interest to the bathroom and was coordinated with the colors of the walls, towels, and other decorations.

Do you have other unique decorating ideas that incorporate patchwork and quilting?

What a great idea for a shower curtain. That would be a great way to add color to a bathroom.
