If you were a teener in the 80s, then you must know Patrick Swayze.
You know…the Dirty Dancing Patrick Swayze and the Road House Patrick Swayze.
Yeah, definitely the Ghost Patrick Swayze.
Reports recently broke that Patrick Swayze only has five weeks to live due to pancreatic cancer.
While it is true that patients with pancreatic cancer has a very small chance of surviving this deadly cancer, doctors to Mr. Swayze stated that what the tabloids have reporeted isn’t exactly true.
“Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far,” Swayze’s physician, Dr. George Fisher said in the statement. “All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.”
But even though the five-week time frame trumpeted by tabloids may be false, cancer specialists say that pancreatic cancer more often than not comes with a daunting prognosis.
Well, we only wish that Patrick Swayze will respond well to his treatments.

The doctor used the words “limited” and “responding well.” Perhaps the media should think positively for once rather than discount the promising reports from his own medical expert. It is absolutely not appropriate to spin sensationalist reports at the expense of a man’s health. There is always hope.
Yes Deb, I totally agree. All cancer patients (and their families) need all the positivity they can get. definitely, there’s always hope.
If there is anyone who can beat this it is Him! He is as tough as nails! Roy from Nc
He has already won round one with having a positive attitude.
Patrick hold in there you are doing very well we are all praying for you my son says you are one of the best dancers that he has ever seen hes 10 loved roadhouse keep strong and god bless you and your family well wishes from south africa
Patrick was diagnosed with this cancer almost a year ago. Most patients with pancreatic cancer, especially in the fourth stage like he is in now usually do not survive this long. After seeing him and listening to his responses to Barbara Walters on her show last night, regarding his disease, I felt that with his positive, hopeful attitude and strong determination, he has the ability to fight it and win. My prayers are with him that he will indeed win this most challenging battle.
I pray that you will call this phone number, Gersons Institute (212)787-2404 extensive research on patients pancreatic cancer. Patient told to live three months but is still living present nine years later, his therapy removed all cancers another case for example four stage melanoma usually expires 4 to 5 years still living 15 years later, he produced 50 cases of terminal cases all living years later with no re-ocurrence. Paitients account to present doctor was so complicated doctor couldnt comprehend the complexity of treatment. Please call since these doctors appear not to be limited as far your treatment.
P.S
Senate commended him for the type of therapy opposed to conventional treatment.
Good luck! Hoping you’ll do the right thing…I would

I have been searching for treatments that stop lung cancer sreading. I came across some information that may be very useful for Mr Swayze; I certainly hope so.
It concerns a drug which is usually used to treat allergies but has been found to be effective against a range of cancers, but not all cancers. Pancreatic cancer was on the list as having documented success. Some chemos and radiotherapy can prevent the drug from working and some don’t. The site has links to more info about the therapy.

I hope this can offer some practical help to Mr Swaze and other people with cancer.
