Jamie and Bobby Deen are not the only ones with a new show hitting the airwaves. Good ole’ momma, Paula Deen, will be premiering a new show this Fall, Paula’s Party. Paula will be in her element, cooking in the kitchen and conversing with people. She will have a studio audience and if you are going to be in Savannah, GA July 24-28 you can be a part of the party. Go here to get information regarding tapings and keep an eye out on the Food Network for the premier of Paula’s Party.
I tried to obtain your free cook book and did not want any of the services offered. Now all of them are spamming me and I am having a terrible time getting off all the lists. I didn’t know if you were aware this was happening on your website or not.

My sweet husband is taking my best friend and I to Savannah Sept.21-23. She and I love to watch Paula’s Shows we would love to go to her taping of Paula’s Party. We are coming to Savannah to go to Lady and Son’s we can not wait. I know this is last minute but how do you get tickets. We live in Rainbow City Alabama. For those who keep asking where to get tickets to “Paula’s Party,” Paula does is not webmaster to this site. If you can all go to http://www.pauladeen.com you can find any information you need to know about tickets to the show, how to get to the Lady and Sons, Uncle Bubba’s, the Old Savannah Tour, etc. Visit the website, click the respective link and it will take you to where you need to go.
My boyfriend did this on his own, sent in a request for the two of us to get tickets to the show and he got a reply the very next day. There are a few requirements, but basically if you give them a block of days when you will be in Savannah, they will put you on the show. It is all done by email.
Now this is 1:30am on September 18th and I am up (THE NIGHT BEFORE TAPING) in our hotel room. I cannot sleep, because I am so excited…in the morning, in less than 7 hours, we will be heading out to Wilmington Island over to Uncle Bubba’s, so we can meet one of my mentors! I am driving my boyfriend nuts, but he has been so awesome about the entire thing!
We have made an entire trip to Savannah from simply requesting tickets to Paula’s Party. We are from California and never in my wildest dreams did I picture myself, 31 years-old, in gorgeous Savannah, Georgia. We have toured so many sites and homes, walked through the many squares, taken an overabundance of pictures and eaten at some of the best places. This is such a great trip to take as a couple. And the entire topper to this vacation sundae is the fact that in the morning I get to meet someone I really look up to!
So please people…go to Paula’s website and click on Paula’s Party and you will have very clear instructions on how to request tickets. Hopefully you get in on a taping before they finish for the season! Good luck!

I am wondering when the “Paula’s Party” shows will be taped in 2008 and how to get tickets for the show. I love Paula and her shows and have also enjoyed eating at the “Lady and Sons” when going to Florida from my home in New York for the winter.

There is a talented young chef who would like to be a guest on your show and do a cooking demo. He was recently seen on Fox 5 and was well received. Johnny Mo – The Musical Chef, mixes song and culinary delights to entertain. This unique combination is something new and different. His outgoing personality plays well live or on camera. John was born and raised just outside of the DC area and started his culinary training at his local high school. Now this young chef is the owner of three restaurants here on the Shore, called Mallards. “Johnny Mo Rocks the Kitchen”, his first cookbook, with CD, will be available the first week in December, he also has a line of sauces and his own special herb blend out. Look for this hot Chef, he’s going places!

Dear Paula, My husband and I went to Savannah this past Sept. and loved it. We went to The Lady and Sons hoping to see you but I had to settle for my picture taken with Bobby and Jamie instead. I guess they will do if you are not around (ha ha). The food was GREAT!
I also share the love for food and cooking as you do. We have a small family diner in Russell Springs, Ky. (The Springs Diner). If you are ever in our area, PLEASE stop in. I would to serve you. We also seen you in Louisville, Ky. this November and it was such a treat. I loved it.
I just want to let you know, I think your the greatest. I have all your cook books and use them. You have truely been a big inspiration to me.

I love myself some Paula. I could watch Paula if there were 8 days in a week. I had to buy an extra tv just so my family could breathe. I have my kids watching and even trying to cook like Paula. My boys are constantly writing down recipies and they are only 10 and 12. Everyday I am late for class because of Paula. I would like to commend you for a job so well.

We are almost finished firming up the dates for Paula’s Party 2008. One big change this year is that we are filming in New York rather than filming at Uncle Bubba’s here in Savannah.

Hi all, just posted an update at pauladeen.com, filming will be April 15th through the 25th at the Food Network Studios.
My husband and I own a bbg restaurant called the Hickory Pig in Gainesville, Ga. We are just a small place but the food is absolutely great. (check out Tripadvisor.com Hickory Pig) for the reviews. I love the Pau;a Deen show and if she is interested in Goooood BBq. Try us. The picture on the Wed site is of my husband and his helper “little bit”. I am a silent partner.
How come Paula moved the taping to NYC?
I think it is due to audience size. I believe where the show was being taped was at her restraunt, so there was a limited number of guests. At the Food Network studios, she can have a much larger set and have a bigger audience. I think she is taking ove Emeril’s old set.
I was in NYC last week for a tapping of Paula’s Party. While I am her biggest fan… I was very dissappointed by the changes in her show. It has become too impersonal for me. There were about 150 guests in the audience, she even has a band now. In the past, if you were in her audience, chances are you were on her show. Now the audience is just that, the audience. Her guest are stars and they get to do all the cooking and tasting… not the audience.
I spent 1500.00 to go to NYC just for this tapping and wasnt able to meet her, get a photo, or even an autograph. Very dissappointing. Im sure that this is not Paula’s doing. The network has taken a little too much control of her life. Which is too bad in my book.
Laura–I know just how you feel. I felt like that April 18th when I went to a taping of her show. It was so very disappointing just like you said. She has gotten too big and I am afraid that that may be the end of her shows I was shocked that you couldn’t even take pictures in the studio at all. Not even when it was all over with and you were lined up to leave. There were only 105 people there with me and the least she could have done was go by every table and say hey. It is sad to hear all this. I really do believe that none of this is reflective of Paula, but rather the Food Network. Part of what was fun about watching Paula’s Party was her with the audience. I think that sometimes those “suits” just get in the way.
I think it is a combo of Paula and Food Network. It took 3 hours to tape this 1 hour show so there was plenty of down time. Paula could have interacted with us during the down time instead of going backstage as soon as possible. Also, she talked over her guests so much. It was difficult watching her guests trying to get in a sentence. Beth

My husband and I love watching Paula Deen, you only have to see her once to feel like she’s family. Do you know if she ever comes to Oklahoma city or Dallas, TX? I’d love to see her in person.
I am desperate to get a ticket for my uncle who is 80 and who LOVES Paula, to attend her show. He watches her every chance he gets. He is a VERY special person- great cook and gardener, lover of a simple beautiful life. If anybody deserves to meet her or be in the audience of her show, it is him. Beverly–Paula’s Party is now shot in New York City not Savannah. Go to the show’s website and it will tell you how to apply for tickets. You are not guaranteed a ticket just because you ask for one. Beth

And yall had to close the restaurant until monday. So we went to visit uncle bubba. Can tell him thank you again for singing happy brithday to me. We loved the food. Well all of this was done for me by my boyfriend as a gift, and i just wanted to know how could i get tickets (will pay) for paula’s party. I would like them for some time around the end of oct. I watch Paula,s sho whenever I can and love her. Recently, she featured fireplace cooking with a gentleman who showed her some early colonial recipies which I have recently tried.
