How can you not love a buffet by Paula Deen? We were in Tunica 2 days and ate there both days. The Sunday buffet was best because they were busier and the food was always hot and fresh. I do agree that the staff were not the best but once you are seated and sampling the wonderful southern cuisine the "ok" service was all forgotten. Things not to miss: BBQ Brisket, Mac and Cheese, Fried Pickles, Shrimp Boil and Grilled Oysters. Something strange was that the desserts tasted as good as they looked! If you are not from the South or don't like Southern cooking move on down the road but if you do you're in for a treat.
Enjoy!

Oct. 9 2008
I have just returned from a Casino Bus trip to Tunica Mississippi, we went to several casinos. My favorite casinos was Harrah's. One of the reasons that this was my favorite was getting the chance to eat at Paula Deens Buffet. I was very pleased to to get the chance to try the food that I have seen Paula cook on her programs. This buffet was well worth the $10.99. The service was great and the food was delicious. We ate at a lot of different buffets during our stay, but none measured up to Paula Deen's. Thank you Harrah's for partnering with Paula Deen.

My husband and I ate there and loved it! There are so many choices! I did not eat at any other buffet in the area, but the cost is comparable to other casino buffets in Tunica and Las Vegas.

I've been raised on "southern cooking" but tend to only eat this way occassionaly for health reasons. You have so much to choose from that I can't imagine anyone not being pleased(yes its worth the extra pounds).I was so "stuffed" when we left but wanted to go back the following day.Creative spin on food(s) and I loved almost everything I tried.Service was excellant even at 6:30 pm on Sat July 19th.I would recc to anyone to try it but keep in mind you may be there on a particular busy or not so busy night-that's casino's for ya!

As someone who lives about 45 minutes from the casino, I can't imagine driving an hour and a half round trip to eat mac and cheese and cornbread!!!

We are huge fans of Paula Deen's shows and recipes. We drove 115 miles one way for dinner with high expectations. Paula Deen's name should not be associated with the buffet at Harrah's Casino on June 13th. You can eat locally at a $7.99 buffet that equals what we experienced. We suggest a surprise visit on a Friday night to see for yourself. We anticipated much more. Our server was nice but covered too many tables with no one helping her bus tables. We will of course relate this experience to our friends who would also be disappointed if they ate there.
