Peanut Butter Playdough

We’re still in the middle of moving, so I dug up this recipe to share with you instead of something with a little more substance. Trust me, though, I’d rather be able to sit down and write but these boxes and furniture aren’t going to move themselves!
Anyway, when I sat down to think of what I could throw up here quickly, I thought of peanut butter playdough.
Here’s the thing about this though – it’s not just for little kids! My nine and eight-year olds still request this and, well, even I’ve been known to get in on the fun! The best part about it is that if you do use it for little kids, the entire thing is completely edible. Just make sure hands and table are washed first and let ‘em loose.
It couldn’t be easier: Mix 1 cup creamy peanut butter, 1/4 cup honey, and 1/2 cup of powdered milk until a dough forms. If it’s too sticky add some more powdered milk or even a little flour. Provide some fun “decorations” to play with too – peanuts, raisins, M&M’s, coconut, etc. It only makes just under two cups of dough, but it can be doubled or tripled easily if you need it to.
As you can imagine, this is also one of the easiest cleanups ever, too!
(Of course, after I got all of this written up I decided to do a quick search to see if Sherry had written about it before I started writing here, and she has! What is it that they say about great minds? Anyway, if you take anything away from this post about peanut butter playdough, it’s that older kids love it too! How’s that?)
