perfect bindings for quilts, wallhangings and more

January 20, 2009 by Chloe Findlay-Harder
Filed under Home & Living

I’ve written about the incredible fiber artist, Sharon Schamber before – she does amazing things with fabric!

Sharon has created a three-part video tutorial on how to create the perfect bound edge.  Learning how to create neat, accurate bindings can be a tricky process (talk about trial and error!) but Sharon’s method takes a lot of guess work out of the process.

Bindings aren’t just for quilters – they’re a great way to finish off all kinds of fabric projects!

Thank you, so much, for posting How to a quilt. I just finished a quilt 116 X 125 I followed your instructions–it was so easy.

  3. I’m so glad it helped – I’m a quilter myself, and binding can definitely be a tricky part of finishing quilts!
