Perfectly Packable Sweater from Ex Officio

It’s still cold in a lot of places, and packing layers is a must, not an option.
The Durango Sweater from Ex Officio has a stand up collar, is made of quick drying fabric, and is plenty warm enough to defend against a chill in the air of a snowy evening. It’s make of a mohair, acrylic, poly blend, and wicks away moisture and keeps you dry.
I own this this sweater and love to layer it over a camisole or t-shirt with jeans or cargo pants. It would also work over a thin turtleneck.
Although a sweater takes up a bit of room when packing, this is a versatile layer for a day of exploring around town, or when the air conditioning is just a little too high in my favorite museum. When it’s warm enough to remove, I just tie it around my shoulders so that it’s always handy when the temperature drops.
The Durango Sweater comes in four colors: bay, dark amethyst, dark sage, and cayenne (in photo), and is sale priced at $28.93. (I have it in bay.)
