To help welcome you to The Kitty Blog, I’d like for you to try out one of my cat Choco’s favorite foods: Pet Promise. He seems to prefer the taste to the other foods he’s tried so far. Sometimes I think Choco likes it too much though!
Four readers who enter will be randomly selected to win a Pet Promise gift bag including cat food samples, a bandanna and a coupon to receive a free full-size bag of dry cat food (up to 25 lbs. – a $49 value).

Pet Promise has a “Promise of Purity” that means no animal byproducts, no added growth hormones, no antibiotic-fed protein, no rendered meats AND no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. And it’s not just good for kitty, Pet Promise also refuses to use factory-farm meat or poultry. They support rural farms, helping out struggling US farmers and ranchers.
Enter to win:

I have 7 cats. Big Kitty is the oldest. She’s a Maine Coon and I’ve had her for 8 years. I found her in my basement on Christmas Eve 2000 and she’s been the Queen of the house ever since! Thanks for the giveaway!
My cat Sparkles loves to be hand fed yogurt from a spoon. Her favorite is strawberry! She also loves playing with the laser pointer.
My cats would love this!
one of my kitties is goldy- she is loveable and huggable and looks more like a mountain lion
My kitties name is brownie. She is a tortie cat and has her own special moody personality
My kitty is named Chopper. If you could see him, you would know why. He is a grey striped 25 lb bundle of love. He likes to eat and we are selective on what we feed him. He loves his head and belly rubbed and purrs so loud you can hear him across the room.
I actually have two cat’s Doby who is a gray male with a very laid back personality and Houdini (who was named before we knew she was female) she got her name because she is very skitish and likes to hide and reappear out of nowhere. Although they have two very different personalities – these two cat’s are the best of friends and would not know what to do without one another.
I’ve got two cats that love to eat!! They want to win!!
I’m writing on behalf of my 78 year old mother, who @ one time, had over 40 cats! She now has only 10, but she lives on a VERY fixed income…I help when I can, but, well, it’s hard sometimes. Winning your contest would help her GREATLY!!!! I watched her FAVORITE cat (C.C.) being born (almost 13 yrs ago!) & my mom has even taught her how to “fetch”! It’s AMAZING!
Thanx so much 4 your time!
Carla J Dalton
My cat Pumpkin came me on Halloween and no one claimed her so she became mine.
I have two Kitty’s . Fluffy is a big gray fluffy cat that eats his food with his paw and Parker is his very shy brother.
my cat is vicious but i love him.
h loves being stroked, however if you touch his belly he will bite and lunge at you !!! :p
My kitty Bella has the markings of a Siamese, but she is just a common house cat. She seems to think she is royalty though. She is also a pillow stealer.
I have 7 adorable felines! Each is loved for their individualilty. Three are brother and 2 sisters. 2 are brother and sister from another litter (a stray momma outside) and 3 are 2 boys who goes inside and out and 1 girl who goes in and out. Each night they each get their one on one time with us. They love to play together and of course bathe each other. i don’t know what I would do without my cats!
I have a siamese kitty named simon. He is fiesty.
I have two kitties. Scout and SHawn. One is a tortoise shell colored one and one is an orange tabby. Scout is the good girl and very sweet but rather skittish. Shawn, well Shawn, we call her Damien for various reasons.
We have an older cat (12 years old) and when my daughter had a baby , I thought the cat would not have anything to do with the baby. They are really good friends! The cat likes sitting next to the baby and the baby is learning to be really gentle with the old cat. IT is really sweet, watching their little friendship!
We have 4 cats, all inside. They are great. Gracie loves Angel (that’s her cat). They rest are all mine:
Mr. Kitty, Stripe and Blackie.
All came to us as strays and now are owners of this family
Neko is my beautiful calico feline friend! I adopted her from an animal shelter when she was just six weeks old. We fell in love with eachother at first sight and have since been inseperable. She is a smart and wonderful companion!
My teenage son is extremely attached to our eleven year old cat, Gilligan and he’d love to have this stuff for him!
I have three rescued kitties: Goblin AKA The Beast, Gigi, and Toodle-Loo. Goblin was put into my yard when he was five weeks old and my dog, Honey, found him. He is Honey’s kitten. They adore each other. Gigi was abandoned by college students adn was so sweet that we took her in. Toodle-Loo was born to a feral mother. I caught the babies and tamed them down and adopted them out through a local rescue organization. I kept Toodle-Loo because the only people that wanted to adopt him wanted to declaw him. I trapped the feral Mom and had her spayed. I released her back into the area.
Thank you!
one of my cats has OCD. he MUST, I repeat, MUST dart into my bedroom if I open the door, race over the bed, then under the bed. then when I call his name, jump onto the bed, and then he allows me to carry him back out of my room. he does this at least five times a day. no idea what the ritual means to him, or what purpose it could possibly serve.
We love our cat Piddidle, she sleeps on the bed with my daughter every night. She even acccepts the dog, and doesn’t mind it to much when the dog tries to sleep on the bed also.
We have three: Cheeto (the senior citizen), Skittle (my kids call her the teenager), and Cookie (she’s 5-6 mos so, seems like her terrible twos). Cookie is the latest addition. She keeps Skittle company and they seem to be getting along. Cheeto is the grumpy old man but even he tolerates the others. They are all great and deserve to WIN!!! Thanks.
My kitty, Tigger loves to eat but he has his quirks with food, so I am constantly changing food. But he is definetly worth the trouble, he is the Prince and knows how to cuddle to get his way
. He has been bounced around a lot before he found his pernament home with me and his dog that lives with us, yes his dog (65lb)
they do everything together ,even eat, I know when Tigger has had enough of a certain brand of food because he pushes his bowl towards the dog so she finishes it.Smart cat. Thanks for a chance to win some new food for my Prince Tigger.
my cats are my babies- they are spoiled, and they bring me such happiness- i have three inside, and one outside, and they are all unique, different and simply purrfect.
our cat’s name is bear. my duaghter gave her to her boyfriend last christmas. he is being deployed this summer to Afghanistan, so bear has come to live with us.
Let me tell you about my two “babies” I have a 4 year old son called “Sniper” he weighs approx 22-25 pounds and looks more like a mountain lion than a house cat and I have a girl called “Kitty Baby” who is very shy but loves her daddy very much and she too is a little chubby but very beautiful. As you can probably tell no I donot have children only my cats. Thanks for letting me brag and thanks for the contest.
We have a wonderful young cat named Vader (can you guess what color he is?) who is handsome as all get out, but crazy! He races through the house growling & spitting at nothing.
I have 7 rescued cats and each has their own personality. My latest, Sadie was found wondering in my complex and was declawed. She has real attitude and bites a lot. I am trying to socialize her but she seems to have very negative issues with men. She is beautiful though- a diluted calico and has her sweet moments. Every cat, like every person, deserves a chance.
Thank you for the website.
I have two cats. A boy and a girl. I love them so much. They make me laugh because sometimes they are so silly.
I have two beautiful long-haired cats. The male thinks he’s my protector and growls when someone comes to the door. It’s a mutual admiration society here! thanks for the contest.
My two cats would love to win the Pet Promise Cat Food Contest!
Mabel can easily entertain herself. Chasing her tail is a never ending adventure!
Well… I’d like to introduce you to my cat, Smokie. She is a 5-year-old (turns 6 in February!) who is the oldest out of the 2 other cats in the home. It seems as if recently she’s developed a taste for peanut butter. Peanut butter!
I have two kitties named Monte and Sophia. They are brother and sister. They bring us endless joy and laughs with their silly antics. They still act like kittens eventhough they are 4 years old.
I have a cat we rescued when she was 5 weeks old. Her name is Chloe, and I get as much joy from her as I do from my family, consistently, every single day and night.
We have two cats, Milo and Mama. They would love this treat!
love my two kitties….named thelma and louise
I got 4 little fur babies that would LOVE this!
So please enter me.
My little manx is a brat she drags around everything. She drags around socks, watches and her dads hats. shes so cute.
Our cat Liberty (Libby) followed my boys home from school the week of 9/11, of course we had to keep her.
We have 4 cats. Sabrina is the oldest at 7. She was adopted from a cat shelter when she was 2 years old. The three babies, Kolby, Roma and Buddy, will be 3 in March. They were born to a feral cat on our backporch. We adopted them when they got old enough to leave their mom.
My cats name is Baby! My daughter named her! Shes kind of an odd cat, she loves to sit on top of the bathroom door!
My 3 little kitty-girls (Bobbi, Ally McSqueal, and Rustie) would LOVE to win this! They love to curl up with me in the recliner at night — each one has their own “special” place to sit!
Thank you for a great (and generous) giveaway!
My current cat is an orange tabby named Abbey because she was “abbey”bandoned by a ferrel feline stealing runt kitties in the neighborhood and dropping them on my friend’s front lawn.
Kristin (14) spent 2 weeks one summer gaining the trust of a feral kitten near our office. After a severe summer thunderstorm and downpour, he let my husband pick him up. Sox is now a serious snuggle kitty who either sleeps on the dryer or in my husband’s recliner.
What a wonderful site!
My fur baby is Shadow. He’s a short hair american cat and is all black. He adopted us a number of years ago, when he kept following my husband around where he worked at the time. He came to live with us two days before we were married. We consider him our first born child. Shadow is so close to each of our kids and is wonderful with them.
Thanks so much for this contest.
Spooky is 12 years old, so I pamper her- she only gets the highest quality food I can afford.
We have two kitties, Bella and Lou. Bella is a diva and thinks she owns the house. Lou is laid back and really sweet. They’re both about the same age, but Lou was a stray we brought home.
I’ve got six cats that love to eat!
