Pet Stairs for Older Dogs

For some time now we’ve been contemplating a few things that we may need to change or get to accommodate our older dog Honey. Since she’s a rescue and her previous longtime owners had passed away, we don’t know her exact age but we and our vet figure her to be about 10 years old now.

One of the things we’re thinking about getting are these “furniture” steps. Honey has had some issues with her hips for a few years now, to the point that if she’s visibly hobbling around we have a pain pill to give her, and while her good days still outweigh the bad, we figure helping her out as much as we can might help things from getting worse for her.
She loves lounging on the couch during the day, but due to her little chihuahua legs and her hips it’s not easy for her to get onto it, and she’ll sit on the floor waiting for someone to walk by to lift her up. With the rest of our animals getting on in years as well, she’d likely not be the only one using it!
What do you think? Do you have a little set of stairs to help facilitate your cat or dog to get onto furniture? Do you have a specific brand or style you recommend?
