Phun with Phat

I have to give it to marketing gurus and advertisers — they can reinvent anything.
Take the word “fat”, for instance.
Somewhere along the line, some genius discovered that if you remove the “f” and replace it with “ph”, it’s cool. Suddenly, it’s hip to be “phat”!
Since I’m a bit of a strange person, I thought I’d see if this move could make other negatively-associated words starting with “f” sound better. See what you think…
FART -> PHART. I think this works well. “Who pharted?” sounds almost quaint, jolly.
FILTHY -> PHILTHY. I love this. If I tell people, “My house is philthy,” they’ll definitely think the clutter is stylin’.
FIRED -> PHIRED. “I’ve been phired!” Okay, that’s just stupid.
FREAK -> PHREAK. I’m not sure about this one.
FLABBY -> PHLABBY. Uh. Nope.
