Oh my goodness, guess what’s going on here at b5Media? Well, starting today, Monday, June 9, 2008, and running through Saturday, June 14, 2008:
It’s b5media Health & Wellness Channel Celebrity Health Week!
So yeah, busy as I’ve been, I wanted to participate (I hate to be left out of anything!). But I didn’t want to just feature celebrities who battled the beast, that seemed too obvious.
I decided to highlight some surprising celebrities doing their part for the cause because when I set out to do some research, I found some of the people involved in the cause a bit mind-blowing.
For instance … on May 23rd, 2008, Nicky Hilton hosted a charity event in Seoul, South Korea at a place called the Answer Club — the proceeds of which were earmarked for the Korean Breast Cancer Foundation.
Who knew the socialite, sister to the infamous Paris Hilton and heiress to the Hilton Hotel Chain, would be doing her part for the cause?
But here’s the question, and I want to know what you think … was this from her heart or for the PR?

I guess regardless of her motives, it a huge help to the Korean Breast Cancer Foundation. If I had to venture a guess though, I’d say it came from the heart. I try (not that I’m always able to lol) give people the benefit of the doubt.
The end result is positive, I agree Donna. But I’m not sure of those motives …
