Reese Witherspoon is a Global Ambassador for Avon Products, Inc. and honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation — an organization that includes breast cancer on their list of initiatives.
Isn’t this photo fantastic? Just this week, Reese took part in a Japanese tea ceremony in Tokyo; she’s there raising awareness of breast cancer (this article cites a study indicating only 12% of Japanese women get regular screenings for breast cancer!).
Why Reese? Check out what Andrea Jung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avon Products, Inc., said when Reese’s new role with the company was announced:
