For anyoine who is the primary caretaker for someone with Alzheimer's, I would recommend that you get involved in a church ministry. Getting involved in a church ministry will (1) help you get encouragement from members, (2) advice from members, (3) much needed prayer for energy, endurance, and strength, and (4) a willingness by some of the members of the ministry to give you small breaks from your caregiving when needed. I am involved in Sunday School and the prayer ministry at my church and they have both see me thru the anguish of watching my suffer thru Alzheimer's.

To see how siblings are handling the care of their mom with Alzheimer's, read blog: "Alzheimersandmoma@blogspot.com".
