Player Piano, Lexus-like (And Not For Us)

Behold the Disklavier Mark IV, the first piano (a Yamaha) in the whole wide world with an internet (a WiFi) connection—yours for $42,000.
Think we’ll stick to the slightly out of tune upright that once graced a practice room on the 4th floor of Saint Louis University’s Verhaegen Hall. Charlie’s working on “Frère Jacques” now and “Sailing in the Sun”: Best music ever to my ears.
I could buy a lot of piano lessons (not to mention a good used piano) for $42K. And still have enough over for a car, a vacation, and a hot tub!

$42K. Good grief.
(Even that amount appears to be chump change compared to to some regular Bosendorfers or Steinways.)
For that amount of money, they should be GIVING you the disks for it to play instead of charging for the service.
I wouldn’t consider the thing anyway–they forgot to include an espresso maker.
That thing had better do dishes too for $42K.
But you got to admit–IT’S COOL!!! (Sorry, my boys got the Geek gene from me and the combo of music and computers is just too much for me. However, I think we’ll stick with our Yamaha console and put the rest of the money into the piano lessons too.)
