I got this submission from a teen-aged artist who has fallen head over heals in love with polymer clay! With this great a start at this young an age, I predict that nothing will stand in Lovey’s way! She writes:
My name is Lovey. I am 19 years old and I got started with Polymer clay in high school. Since then I have been making things out of polymer clay. I make beads, and I make votive holders, vases, switch plate covers, and I have been messing around with other stuff, but that’s the basics.
I make my own designs, I don’t order them or anything, everything I make is me and my creativity. I do custom pieces as well, I currently just did a custom piece where I went to the house with some samples of clay and matched them up with their bathroom and made switch plate and plug plate covers.

The picture above is a votive holder that I lite up to show what it looks like.
A lot of the votive holders look like stained glass. Below is a vase with a matching votive holder. That was a custom piece.

And here is a switch plate (double) that was a custom piece I made for my aunt, and I also matched the colors in her house to.

Your work is beautiful
Thank you so much!
I have seen Lovey’s work and she is extremely talented! She has done some custom work for me and it is absolutely amazing to see how she creates the “cane” that creates these beatiful pieces. It’s amazing!!
Thanks – Lovey
