What do you get when you combine bubble wrap and numbers, and a need to keep track of time for your eager-to-return-to-school 11 year old?

The Bubble Calendar, a “poster-sized calendar with a bubble to pop every day.”

Oh my gosh, ultra cool, but there’s gotta be a way to make one cheaper! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I want to get the paper version for Charlie but think he would do better with the horizontal layout—–anything (almost!) to teach the calendar.

    1) I can’t believe the gall of charging $49.95 for a calendar, and

    2) I can’t believe that anyone that would buy one of these could only pop one of those bubbles a day.

  4. One must exercise restraint!

So one starts to envision how one might overlay bubble wrap onto rows of numbers……..

  5. Rebecca says:

Kinda reminds me of the christmas calendars we used to get with a piece of chocolate for each day before the 25th. Talk about restraint!!

I have a few pieces of b wrap that have come home from work with me. It can keep L busy for a while in a pinch, pun intended.

  6. Robin says:

Wow – what a great idea!! But like others have commented, there must a be a way to make it cheaper.
They could easily start a line for behavior reinforcement schedules too!

  7. Now you’re onto something! After a while, one gets tired of pennies on a token board.

  8. Eleanor says:

It would never last in my house. Both my son and my mother get obsessed about popping every last bubble in a bubble wrap. Holidays can get pretty amusing…a gift sits neglected on the floor while kid and grandma each take one end of the bubble wrap it arrived in!

  9. Meg says:

It would never last in my house either!

  10. danette says:

That is very cool, but wouldn’t last more than a few minutes at our house!
