Add flavor to a regular pork sirloin roast by glazing it with a teriyaki gravy after cooking. This is a very simple dish that you could whip up easily. You don’t even need to buy the bottled teriyaki sauce as long as you have the Asian ingredients in your pantry for future use and create different sauces for marinades as well.

INGREDIENTS:
3-4 pounds of pork sirloin
salt and pepper
2 tbsp of olive oil
TERIYAKI SAUCE:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Chinese rice wine
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tbsp of flour
2 tbsp of butter
1/2 cup of water
Preheat the oven to 355°
Heat up the oil in a pan. Brown each sides of the pork sirloin for about 2 minutes on each side.
Place the pork sirloin in a baking dish, cover with foil. Bake the pork sirloin in the preheated oven (355°) for an hour and a half.
In a pot, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Sprinkle the flour and whisk until lightly browned. Whisk in soy sauce, water, Chinese rice wine, pineapple juice, honey, sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Sprinkle Italian seasoning if you want. Just keep whisking until it thickens into a gravy.
Slice the pork sirloin after letting it sit for about 8 minutes after cooking. Transfer into a platter then pour the teriyaki gravy sauce on top.
