Potatoes on the Grill

Today I watching the Food Network and Bobby Flay was making some potatoes on the grill. I’m a fan of anything potatoes - a firm believer in the fact that there are no bad potato recipes. This dish is a grilled french fry or “steak” fry.
Start with 6 clean, good-sized potatoes. Put them in a pot of cold water, add 1 tablespoon of salt, then set to boil for 10 minutes. Remove the potatoes, let cool, then slice into strips, and drizzle with oil (I prefer olive).
Set your grill to high. Sprinkle the pre-cooked potatoes with Bobby’s version of Old Bay seasoning (see recipe below), then grill for 3 to 5 minutes.
That’s it. Yum!

Combine all ingredients. Store in an air-tight container.

I love the sound of this spice blend. I happen to have everything needed to make it and am going to whip up the next time I’m in the kitchen. Thinking this blend would be nice as a gift packed up in a nice bottle too. Looking forward to trying it. Thanks for sharing this, Michelle.
I’m glad that you found it useful, Cassie. I think that’s a great gift idea. You are so clever!
You just gave me an idea for another post…… Thanks!
Hello from Keeping the Castle. It looks like I have found a kindered spirit who loves all things potatoes. I couldn’t agree with you more! Now, I will just have to try out this spice mixture. Sounds awfully promising!
