What is Power Over Pain Action Network?
It’s a project of the American Pain Foundation and its goal is to transform pain care in the United States.
According to their website,
Vision: Americans will understand they have a right to timely pain management and access to effective pain relief.
Our Overall Goal:
- Transform pain care in America through the following
ACTIONS:
- Raise public awareness
- Promote the best pain policy, legislation and practice
- Advance national and state-based media and educational efforts
- Inform, motivate, and harness the millions of voices of people affected by pain to develop a nationwide movement of pain care advocates
