Pregnancy food cravings

Are you having cravings now that you’re pregnant? Some women never experience cravings, while others crave the oddest things.Chocolate-dessert_NC

My cravings weren’t that over the top. With my first one, I wanted needed Cherry Blossoms. I think I single-handedly provided the candy company with its annual profits that year. Every time my husband went out, he’d come home with a Cherry Blossom for me.

With my second pregnancy, I wanted needed Swedish raspberries. Those are the little red jelly-like candies. We had a corner store that sold penny candy and I every time I needed milk or something, I would be sure to buy a dollar’s worth. Oddly enough, I can’t recall if I had any cravings the third time around.

Did you have any cravings? What were they?

I haven’t had too many odd cravings yet. But the ice cream I LOVE normally, has been sitting in the freezer over a week, and I have no appetite for it. But I feel like cold foods, salad, pasta salad, and beef, which is odd because I don’t really eat much beef. I was vegetarian for a while, but when we wanted to get pregnant I stopped, and started having more chicken and some beef (only if we were out for dinner though). Now I can’t handle the chicken and I LOVE the beef! Eggs still make me gag though!
I was thinking of my past fav (not during pregnancy) pickles, cheddar cheese and melba toast… MmMm, I’m going to have to get some soon!
