Pregnant Moms Beware: Stress May Affect Your Baby Long After Birth

Wow.

I read an article today about a very interesting study of over 14,000 British women.

The article, Stressed-out moms may keep infants awake, and the study suggests that babies born of stressed-out women are more likely to experience problems sleeping than babies born of calmer women.

I feel sorry for my babies, should I ever have any.

So, I have a question for all you moms out there: If you were stressed-out, depressed, or anxious during your pregnancies, does (or did) your baby have trouble sleeping? Falling asleep and/or staying asleep?

It would interesting to know whether the study only included before the birth.

  2. You mean if it provided information about how stressed out mothers affect their babies’ sleep (or anything else) once they’re born?

    I agree!
