Prevent Delinquency Project

To every parent or potential parent, don’t ever think that teen drug use isn’t going to happen to you. According to what I’ve read this morning, simply having Vanilla Extract in your cupboard provides a means for teens to begin, grow or support an addiction.
The Prevent Delinquency Project is a unique program designed by volunteers assisting parents in developing proactive techniques that are oftentimes crucial in preventing teen drug use or delinquent behavior. By improving the knowledge of parents in each of these areas, parents find themselves in a much better position to safeguard their children from harm, and intervene at the first sign that trouble exists.
Prevent Delinquency provides tips of threats that children face as submitted by parents, teachers, and law enforcement professionals from all across the country. The information you’ll find listed represents only a fraction of that shared with parents during Prevent Delinquency Project presentations. The program does this intentionally, so they don’t become a learning tool rather than a prevention option.
