Alzheimer’s Life Products
Life challenges as one grows older can be frustrating. It’s even more so for someone with Alzheimer’s. How can we make life easier for them?
Check out new and innovative products that will help them cope with everyday life. There are numerous ones with new ones introduced frequently.
Here are five suggestions:
- Look for phones with large numbers on the keypad.
- Use calculators with large numbers, if the patient can still manipulate these.
- There now are telephones with space for at least three photos. The patient simply presses the photo to dial.
- Find watches with large digital read-outs.
- Install water faucets that turn off automatically.
These are only a few of the products/gadgets that make life easier for the Alzheimer’s patient and caregiver…at least in the earlier stages of the illness.
