Profits Up for Shed Productions

TV production house Shed Productions posted a 22% rise in first half pre-tax profit and is confident of meeting expectations for the full year.
The independent production group said pre-tax profits rose to £2.8m for the six months ended February 28th 2006 from £2.3m a year earlier. Sales rose to £17.3m from £11.9m before.
The group, which has completed the acquisition of rival TV programme maker Ricochet, best known for the Supernanny TV series, said it is recommending an interim dividend of 0.25p per share.
