Pseudo-Asian in California

Oriental Chicken Stir Fry, Fun Town Market, Legoland, Carlsbad, California

Teriyaki Stir-Fry, Tea Pavilion at Balboa Park, San Diego, California
So it’s not “real Asian”, you say. Perhaps not. But sometimes you gotta love places like this that can offer hot-from-the-wok, bursting with flavor, chock-full of veggies, fill-you-up meals that may not be “authentic”, but delicious anyway. Note: the rice at Legoland was way too gluey, but the chicken — perfect. And how can you not like the Tea Pavilion, where customers are called by their first names and can choose from a large number of loose teas?

did you guys like legoland? i was there last year with son & hubby, & son declared he needed to go back there again soon! LOL
