Edited Thurs., 11:26 pm. est – Thanks for sharing dAAve! Would anyone care to add to what dAAve has said? I find the comment “I have some power over alcohol – until I take that first drink” intriguing… (How’s the coffee dAAve? I tried to make this pot stronger than the last)
For me it means that when I have an alcoholic drink, I either will not want to stop drinking or I won’t be able to stop drinking. Either way, it means I’ll be in for trouble soon. I have learned that I have some power over alcohol — until I take that first drink.
