Quantum Leap–Yet Again with the 4th Dimention!

My blogging group has decided that we’d celebrate Feb 29th and leap year with a look back 4 years and a look forward 4 years.
I thought I’d be strange and plug for the idea that I was junk creating in 2004 and will still be junk creating in 2012.
In 2004, I still had a knife that I had designed and created, with some help from a blacksmith friend. True, the knife was unfinished–but I had forged it from an old coil spring, ground and sanded it to the shape I wished, and even tempered it just how I had wanted it. Unfortunately, I first lost track of the blacksmith and then the knife.
In 2008, I find myself junk creating and blabbing about it to total strangers–I suppose that hasn’t changed tons, I just blab about it to more people in more places.
In 2012, I hope to have made my own shoes from recycled material. I know this sounds strange, but I am waiting for a particularly good pair (”good” meaning that they aren’t made from formed leather and, thus, are actually possible to make without very specific skills) to wear out enough that I feel right ripping out the seams and cutting new pieces to sew together. We’ll see if I ever develop the skills or free time to get that done in the next 4 years.
Any ideas where the blog should be in 4 years?
