There are a lot of artists who have influenced me and some I'm sure I don't even realize that have. First that comes to mind is Van Gogh with his glorious use of color. I love all the impressionists. Joseph Cornell's assemblages are amazing. Georgia O'Keefe's incredible flowers. Then there are the Dutch still life paintings I saw in the Riijksmuseum that knocked my socks off. There are many current artists Christo's landscape wrappings and displays, Dale Chihuly's unbelievable glass masterpieces. There's my artist friends, Mary Haldeman, Karen Owen, Aileen Roberts, Angela Hoffmann, Joanne Huffman, Kathy Wasilewski, DJ Pettitt that all have inspired and influenced me.
