Question of the month: What’s your favorite marinade?

Grilling Sauce from Hannaford’s

Do you pour it straight from the bottle, or do you mix your own? My friend Dan, part of our infamous Grill Team, marinates his steak tips in Wishbone Robusto Italian salad dressing. They’re terrific. Me? I tend to use spice rubs on the meat and then add sauces later. But I also love marinades…

How about you? What’s your favorite combo of rub/marinade/sauce? Do you have a world famous killer recipe you’d like to share? Email it to me and I’ll post your recipe along with a link to your site or blog. Email cyndi @ b5Media.com (remove the spaces) and please use the subject heading “my favorite marinade”. Or you can just leave it here in the comments if you’d prefer!

I have fallen in love with a local rub, that I bought last year at my Farmer’s Market. It’s just a “High-Grade Rub”. There is no website for it (yet I think) but it is also sold at our Co-op. He has everything, fish/pork/beef/seafood/veggies and there is one more but I think of what it is. I have even bought them for my dad as a father’s day present last year!

Local products are the best, Kisha! I’m always so curious about what’s in them :-)

Sounds pretty good. I’m not sure if they carry that product around here. I just sampled some of Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce/Marinade. I was very happy with the flavor.
