Questions… Questions

Perhaps it’s too late for me to be writing, but something has occurred to me that I feel compelled to share before forgetting.

Have you noticed that Kerri and I ask a lot of questions on this here blog? How do you handle sports rivalries? How do you encourage your spouse? Where do you go for marriage help? Some of you are possibly wondering if we have any answers of our own.

Well, I guess that’s the thing about us. There’s an aphorism about raising kids that goes something like this: When I was young I had a million theories and no kids; now I’m older and have a million kids and no theories. It’s the same with marriage. No two marriages are alike because no four people are alike. (Do the math…) All marriages share the one common goal of expressing and enjoying love for a life-time. The nitty-gritty, however, must always be customized. What works for one won’t work for another. To give you pat answers would be a disservice, and your marriage deserves better.

The very best we can offer is honest questions coupled with our honest experiences. In return, we hope you’ll take the time to offer your experiences – and even questions. I want to thank you, dear readers, for turning up and tuning in to our questions. Together, I hope we can all experience a “happily ever after.”
