Quick Cleaning Tip:Lemons

 lemons

Next time you have half a lemon left from baking put it in a covered container.  Next time you need to clean the kitchen here is what you do…

Sprinkle baking soda on the cut side of the lemon and use it as a scrubber to remove stuck on food from the dishes, pots, and pans.  Next add a little more baking soda and use it to scrub out the sink.

Finally, push it through the grabage disposal and you will have a clean, fresh smelling kitchen in no time!

Putting lemons through the garbage disposal is one of my favorite tricks. A lemony kitchen smells almost as good as baking cookies. Almost.
