Quilting Designs Following Bible Verses

In my post, Quilts for a Gallery Showing , I mentioned that a scripture from Psalms inspired my daughter’s challenge quilt.  In a comment on Blisstree, a reader tells about a quilt she’s making that focuses on Corinthians.

I am making a wedding quilt for my granddaughter, white on white. I embroidered Corinthians 13 about love never fails and will sew it on a white backround and quilt it all together with hearts.

This white on white quilt sounds lovely and should make a perfect wedding gift made by grandmother for granddaughter.  Bible quilts, with verses and designs from this book, were prominent throughout pioneer quilting days.
