Quilting Ideas for Thanksgiving

Whether you’re making a quilt or decorative items  for Thanksgiving with a harvest theme, there are many options available to you.  There are hangings, table runners and placemats, potholders, and quilts.

Items with a fall or autumn design often are incorporated into a Thanksgiving design. Also, the fall colors….orange, green, gold, bronze, wine, and brown…blend well with any Thanksgiving projects.

Why not make yourself a quilt in fall colors with leaves and harvest bounty?  Or a wall hanging, like my daughter does with leaves that give a three dimensional effect.

Decorate your Thanksgiving table with placemats or table runner in autumn colors with abstract designs or with a turkey in the midst.  If you have an interest in history, why not incorporate the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving into your project?
