Quilting Newsletters & Web Sites

Much of our information today comes from online newsletters (ezines) and quilters’ web sites. Some newsletters come directly to your e-mail address in their entirety, once you’ve subscribed. Other quilters will send a notice to your address and direct you to their web site for the entire newsletter.

I’ve subscribed to two of these newsletters and find helpful tips and information in each. They’re of different styles and provide you with varying information…tidbits of what’s going on in the quilter’s life, new projects, books, and teaching schedule.

At their web sites, where you’ll find more detailed information, you even might obtain free patterns.

These newletters are Judy Martin’s Quilting Newsletter and Kaye’s Quilting Friends Email Newsletter. You can subscribe to them at the web sites: www.kayewood.com and www.judymartin.com .

For more quilters’ web sites and newsletters, type into a search engine the words, “Quilting Newsletters” and/or “Quilter’s Web Sites”. Or type a quilter’s name into the web site and generally you’ll find their web site.

Of course, there still are many quilting magazines still available in print, as well as online. Frequently these magazines will have web sites, too.
