Quilts in Guest Rooms

What fun to stay at a guest house or in a friend’s guest room and find quilts as part of the decor.  For quiltmakers and those interested in this art, a room seems a friendlier, more welcoming place when there are quilts and fabric art hangings to greet them.

Also, many types of older fabrics, sometimes referred to as vintage fabrics, add color and interest to a room, whether it’s for guests or yourself.

A book where you might find ideas is: Vintage Fabric Style by Lucinda Ganderton, Rose Hammick and Catherine Gatwicke (photographer).
