Want something crafty and quirky for your home? You a shoe lover? Why not a shoe canvas like the one pictured below.

365-days-of-shoes

To be honest, the first time I saw Julie Kirk’s canvas, I wanted to grab the blank canvas I’ve got stashed in our home office and create one for my bags. You know I love bags. Bags are my guilty pleasures. LOL

Here’s the list of materials used by Julie for this beautiful work of art:

  • A 8″ x8″ [20cm x 20cm] box canvas
  • Pages from an old diary & notebook
  • acrylic paint with nail varnish dripped on top
  • tulle, lace, ribbon, buttons
  • vintage plastic flowers: EpochBeads.etsy.com
  • Scalloped edge paper: Creative Imaginations
  • bulldog clip holding a K&Co frame
  • magnetic poetry words
  • calendar block: home-made
  • ‘I Love Shoes’ tag: East of India

You can find more works of arts from Julie in the following sites:

Christine, This look absolutely fabulous. I have lots of shoes an always keep the boxes, but I use them for my hobby: knitting doll’s clothes. The boxes are the doll’s beds and a good place to store their clothes
