Rachael Ray Magazine Rates the Sausage

I love sausage links and football season seems to bring out the Brawts and the Wursts from people. It is probably one of the big favorites on Sunday afternoons and tailgates. The food crew at Everyday With Rachael Ray sat down to a tasting of 100 types of sausages and came up with the keepers.
When ever they do these taste tests they always have traditional categories mixed-in with the not so traditional, like “Best Oddball”.
So…drum roll please…..here are the winners of the Every Day with Rachael Ray Sausage Fest:
Best Italian: Johnsonville Mild
Best Andouille: Applegate Farms Smoked Pork
Best Chorizo: D’Artagnan
Best of the Wursts: Shady Brook Farms Turkey Bratwurst also under the Honseysuckle White Brand Name.
Best Kielbasa: Hebrew National Beef Polish Sausage
Best Oddball: Dietz & Watson Buffalo Chicken
