Rachael Ray Speaks Out About Marriage Rumors

It seems that the heat regarding the marriage of Rachael Ray has finally gotten to America’s favorite TV “cook” and she spoke out in regards to the rumors during the taping of her show this week.

Rachael Ray has hit the front pages of the tabloids again this week with rumors that she has kicked her husband, John Cusimano, out of the house and that their marriage is on the rocks due to his philandering.  According to People, Ray addressed the subject during a taping of her show this week.  She discussed how hurtful the rumors are:

Everybody gossips … but this stuff is hurting people’s feelings who are in our families and friends of ours,” Ray told the audience on the show, set to air Friday. “They worry about us.”

It seems that the tabloids can’t seem to make-up their minds whether or not Cusimano is a closet gay or sleeping around with every woman in Manhattan.  I wish, though, that Rachael Ray would not say a word, just because usually when celebrities start addressing the tabloid subjects fans start thinking that “thou dost protest too much”.  In her defense, she is not a celebrity that keeps herself at arms length from her fans.  She has a close personal tie to them.  I can’t imagine what it is like to be a book signing and having fans ask her about her marriage. 

The show airs today, so we will see what happens.
