Rachael Ray’s Mammogram Challenge

On Friday’s Rachael Ray Show, Rachael had a mobile mammogram unit standing by outside her studio so that her studio audience would all have the chance to be screened.
Ray recently turned 40 years old which is the recommended age for annual mammograms. If you are at high risk with a personal or family history then you start earlier. Rachael was the first to go to show it wasn’t so bad and that it was quick. Desperate Housewife, Dana Delaney came along for moral support.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. If it is time for you to get your mammogram make sure to schedule yours today. I know that some women get too busy and put something like this on the back burner and I actually know a couple of women who avoid mammograms because it is uncomfortable. Mammograms can be awkward and even physically uncomfortable and I understand how life is so hectic it is difficult to find the time, but your health is too important. Early detection save lives. You can’t get much simpler than that.
