Would you like a copy of How to Make a Quilt - 25 Easy Lessons for Beginners by Bonnie Leman?
Even though this 26-page booklet was published in 1971, when Bonnie Leman was in the beginning years of Quilters Newsletter Magazine, it still contains much great information for quilters. These were monthly quilting lessons published in the magazine and collected into this booklet.
Leave a comment below telling me what your favorite quilting/fabric art book is. Deadline for the comments is Friday, June 6 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time).
Then the comments will be put into a random drawing, and I’ll announce the winner here at the Quilting and Patchwork blog.
(Make sure your e-mail address is included in the designated space with your comment. Otherwise I won’t be able to contact you if your name is drawn.)
(Unfortunately, this drawing is open only for bloggers in the US and Canada.)

I love the Joen Wolfram color books. They are so inspiring!
My favorite quilt book is Fons and Porter “Quilter’s Complete Guide”. You can make a really nice sampler by following each chapter and you learn a skill with each block.
I have never made a quilt actually! Never! So I don’t have a favourite quilting book :). I do knit though, and Handy Patterns for Knitters is my favourite :).
I hope you will accept my entry. I’ve made a baby quilt for my daughter’s crib, but I had no pattern nor any books to help inspire me. However, I’ve sewn since I was in middle school and thought I could do it. I’d love to learn more about quilting and actually get some patterns. This would be great to have for my next adventure in quilting.
Cool giveaway! I’ve blogged it @ A Bookblogger’s Diary
I like one called Traditional Quilts for Kids to Make by Barbara J. Eikmeier.
I have always wanted to learn how to make a quilt but never knew where to start!

I don’t have a favorite book because I haven’ tried to quilt. I feel like I’m missin out on something, and I’d really like to give it a try. Thanks.
My favorite right now is Just Can’t Cut It by Pamela Mostek. It features ways to use fabrics that are just too beautiful to cut into tiny pieces.

Hi, I have tried to make a quilt for my grandchildren. I did it from right out of my head.
No instructions, but I do sew, so thought I could do this a little.
Emma Allen has a ramdom drawing at Quilting and Patchwork, for making a Quilt for beginners,
in 25 easy steps, which is a booklet. This is great,
