Rape and Adoption

Would you want the world to know that your child was a product of rape?

I’m sure Angelina and Brad certainly don’t want the entire world to know that Zahara was allegedly conceived during a violent rape.

“I feared the consequences of being raped in a community where rape is considered a taboo, even if what happened happened forcibly,” she said, tears streaming down her face.

Would you want everyone to know your child’s birth history?

wow…I don’t think I’d want to know. I do know a woman who knows, but I have no idea how it effects her. Yeah…a tough one. I wouldn’t want to know.

  2. Marcie says:

Yes, but would you want the world to know your child’s history? I think about my son’s history and we don’t even tell our family the details.

  3. Veronica says:

Nope…because if I wouldn’t want to know, I wouldn’t tell the world until I could make the decision that s/he should know.

  4. Melba says:

I would hav to say, if it was me. Well I would have to keep it. For the Lord has his reason. It would be a miricle for it to be born..So I’d give it all my love..It’s not it’s falut for in the way it was cocived..

  5. Marcie says:

That is not the question…if your child was adopted would you want the world to know that he/she was conceived of a rape? There is such a stigma.
