Reader Feedback on Bliss

I asked a few of you recently to describe your idea of bliss. To me, it’s a day at home with my family. Plain and simple. In this busy world, I cherish the times we can be together with nothing important to do, and just hang out and enjoy our lives.

Here are a few of the things you shared me regarding your idea of bliss:

Sara L. said, “A hot bath, a good book, and some Dove chocolate gives me bliss!”

I know a lot of people agree with you there! In fact, many of your comments had to do with chocolate and reading a good book. I think it’s those two activities together that really signify a serene moment.

It’s interesting how often food translates to bliss. After all, if our tummies are full and we’re with our family, we have so much more than so many others in the world. Anne said:

“Bliss to me, is having my adult daughters and their children over for a huge meal, filled with much love and much laughter!”

Did you get a chance to weigh in on this? What’s your idea of bliss?
