Reading Activities: Letter of the Day
Even a minute a day can help improve children’s reading skills. So, why not chose a letter of the day, a number of the day, a color of the day? Okay, so much for Sesame Street, right?
However, these activities are easily done at the breakfast table, after school, the dinner table, and even in the car.
Have your children look for the letter around the house. What starts with the letter B? Where do you see “B” in books, magazines, street signs, billboards, on television?
Where do you see Blue?
Where do you see the number 2?
