Reading Lists

Angus & Robertson have released their annual The Top 100 List. These are the top 100 books as voted by Australian readers for this year. The list is usually printed out as a brochure and left on their store counters for potential customers for pick up.

I usually take one of these lists and paste it into my reading journal. That’s where I write about all the books I’ve read. I reserve a page for those TBR* books. Most of the time I get titles from lists like The Top 100 List. The library is another great resource for book lists. My local library prints out author lists in specific genres to make it easy for readers to quickly find the right kind of books to read.

Do you collect reading lists for when you’re stuck on what to read? What other kinds of lists to you collect to paste into your journal?

I love the idea of a reading journal if only because it would encourage me to read more books as opposed to blogs and the sports sections from newspapers! I just got myself a daytimer after abandoning my Palm so maybe I’ll carve out a little TBR list!

    Keep up the good work!

    cheers, Mark

  2. Hi Mark,
Great to read you feel encouraged to start your own TBR list. Thanks for commenting. ;-)
