This is a hard one, though it exemplifies reality and there is a need for these type of reports.
This young man’s name is Ron. He is no longer with us. A car, driven by an unfortunate young person who wasn’t drinking, accidentally struck Ron last Saturday less than a half mile from where I sit. Ron died.
Just recently, Ron had 42 days away from a drink. When he was struck, well, apparently he had been drinking and may have been walking home from a bar at the time of the accident.
Alcohol kills.
May God rest his soul and comfort his family.
Sad story Mark W,but it brings the fact home to me once again this desease aint no joke!!!!!!!!!

Ya’ know what’s sadder still? The story was in the paper and absolutely nothing, not one word, was mentioned about alcohol. We had friends who saw the results within a minute or two of when it happened.
Sometimes I wonder if “I’m Your Disease” is the editor of the local paper? That wouldn’t be a joke either…
